Success through three-strand and four-strand
With the 09-32 4S track and switch tamping machines , the Wiebe Group can handle all machining and tamping tasks. The three-strand lifting and four-strand tamping techniques used optimally plug the sleepers with extremely careful track handling.
The split-head technology also allows the individual positioning of the tamping units and thus the high-quality tamping of B75 sleepers. The semi-units can also be adjusted so that the tongue and heart area of turnouts is also plugged in the best possible way.
Shared at its core for all work
The B75 sleeper was developed to cope with the increasing speeds and axle loads in rail transport and construction. Their total length of 2.8 meters results in greater transverse displacement resistance – and also new requirements for maintenance and processing machines. For this reason, the 09-32 4S features split-head technology. Their tamping units are divided above the centre of the rail, can be extended laterally and can thus be adapted to different sleeper and track situations.
