Track laying gantry crane
The Donelli PTH 350 track-laying gantry crane from Cemafer is designed for laying, picking, transporting and loading sleepers, track yokes and rails.
With a working time of twelve hours and optimal conditions, it is able to achieve a sleeper laying of up to 1,000 meters.

The tasks of the gantry crane are the laying, picking-up, transporting and loading of sleepers, track yokes and rails. For this purpose, it has a self-propelled drive and travels on auxiliary rails. These are usually new rails that are used to assemble the track to be built. In the event of relocation or dismantling, no neighboring track closure is required, but two operating personnel are required for the two portals. The track width of the auxiliary rails to be laid must be 3.31 metres. The PTH 350 can be used in semi-diameters of at least 250 metres, in inclinations of a maximum of 40 per cent and in cants of a maximum of 90 millimetres with a track gauge of 1435 millimetres or an elevation of the auxiliary rail track of 200 millimetres. Any overhead lines that may be present must be switched off.
