Individualist and team player
The MFS 40/4-A-ZW material, conveyor and silo wagon is used for the continuous conveying and storage as well as for the transport of excavated ballast and overburden. Since these materials are reused in modern track construction after any maintenance and new construction work, it is flexible during unloading in addition to transport and storage: it can unload ballast, overburden or other transportable materials both laterally and in the working direction forward.
Since each car is equipped with its own energy supply unit, individual, i.e. independent use, is also guaranteed.
On the road on all routes
The MFS 40/4-A-ZW has two crawler undercarriages that enable driving in ballast beds, subgrades and excavations. Even on the track, this car can move independently at five kilometers per hour thanks to its drive bogies.
