Leipzig-Thekla Measures Complex, Waterproofing

Service description:

The total service included the new construction, replacement construction and the upgrading of 8 engineering structures.

Sealing work was carried out on the superstructure slab at all railway overpasses.
The replacement buildings of the EÜ Mockauer Straße and EÜ Beuthstraße were given a standard seal with bitumen sealing membranes on the frame beams. In the area of the frame posts and sashes, all wall surfaces in contact with the ground were sealed with a plastic-modified bitumen thick coating. At the back of the component, an additional protective layer of concrete filter blocks was applied to the waterproofing.
At the EÜ Sternbachstraße, the superstructure waterproofing consisting of two layers of bitumen waterproofing membranes was supplemented by a 5 cm thick layer of matte-reinforced concrete. The rear end was formed by a steel angle. The new waterproofing was glued to the existing one in layers.
At the EÜ Parthe, the surface of the roadway was waterproofed with bitumen waterproofing membranes, in the cap area with waterproofing closure. The surfaces in contact with the ground were sealed with a thick bitumen coating.
